An obscene showdown of human vanity, greed and lust for power together with intelligence, cleverness, eccentricity and beautiful souls sparkling amidst a cage aux folles.

It makes one think, that this forum’s central topic has been “passion”.
Obviously it was because of the same healing narrative ritual, that passion was cherished as a value of itself, its legitimation being derrived from quoting a quite narrow selection of thinkers, including, Hegel, Schopenhauer, Khalil Gibran and Kierkegaard. Alas, this makes one think much less. Certainly, Plato’s Charioteer Myth with its demand of taming one’s passionate nature to obtain true knowledge, would come in a bit unhandy perhaps.
However, it was all in all an amazing chance to listen to most outstanding people’s opinions about what goes on in the world, and as well, to land firmly on the grounds of reality again, when the first “Straßenfeger” seller in the train back to Berlin tells his story…
